Bike Week
U.P. Bike Week
Formerly known as "Just Ride", we've changed the name to U.P. Bike Week. As in previous year, U.P. Bike Week is an open invitation to bikers everywhere to come ride the U.P. experience. However, this summer we moved the dates up a week so that it would encompass two of Upper Michigan's best motorcycling events. The two events bookend Bike Week meaning you can attend one event and then do some great riding before capping off your week with the second. We anticipate several thousand bikers to be attending the events and enjoying some great riding during the week. Bike Week kicks off on Saturday, July 17th with the the 24th Annual Little Lake Ride-In. It's one U.P. bike event you don't want to miss. Put on by the dedicated people over at the Superior Chapter of H.O.G., the events proceeds go to help the kids at the Bay Cliff Health Camp.
When you're not enjoying one of the events, it's time to do some riding. Visit the U.P. Cruising Roads & Rides page to find out where some of the best riding can be found on Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Whether its a fantastic waterfall, a warm sandy beach or an inspiring view of the "Big Lake", there is plenty to see an do. Off course all along the way there are plenty of friendly Yooper businesses to pull over, shake off road dust and enjoy a cold one with a good meal.
In the coming months you'll be hearing more on 2010 U.P. Bike Week. While there are two great events taking place during U.P. Bike Week, it's not all there is too it. We'll be posting information on updates on what else is happening across the U.P. on this page.
